A second person has died following a double motorcycle collision this afternoon(September 3, 2009) northeast of Arroyo Grande, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to his injuries after being transported to French Hospital in San Luis Obispo, according to CHP Officer Mike Egan.
The accident on Highway 227, near Noyes Road, occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m., and investigators have not returned with any more details of the fatal crash, Egan said.
The accident narrowed Highway 227 down to one lane while the wreckage was cleared and investigation occurred, according to CHP officials. Article
